Mercedes is a long-bodied black mouflon ewe.   She is a wonderful mother with plentiful milk who is a very low maintenance sheep.  She is the daughter of Blanche of Lavender Fleece.  Mercedes is being exposed to the ram Stitch  Mercedes' Pedigree

Meet Artemis:  Mercedes' daughter.   She is a grandaughter of the ram Mjaldur. She has a long back and wonderful conformation.  Watch for her lambs in the spring of 2013!  She was exposed to Stitch.   Artemis' Pedigree

Rosalind is an extremely friendly daughter of Lady Capulet. She is personable and her lambs tend to be the same way. She is an excellent mother with plentiful milk and fast growing lambs. She has the ram Kari in her pedigree. She was not bred as a lamb, so her history is na, 2,2,2,2. We are excited to see her lambs in the spring! She was exposed to STITCH for 2012, Pedigree  Ros delivered twins on 4/5/12.  See them on the lambs page.  Ros took 2013 off from lambing due to my lack of time.  She was not happy about this!

Molly is a large, meaty,  black-gray ewe.  She is being bred with the  new ram TCE626Xthis year.  I think this will be a great match as their traits compliment each other.  Molly was not bred as a lamb, so her history is na,1,2,2,2.  Molly is from Fence Row Farm.  Pedigree

 Shantung is a 4 year old ewe from Susan Briggs' Tongue River Farm.  She is a lovely moorit (brown) with beautiful wide horns.  The rams Bambi, Stapi, and Dalur are all in her pedigree.   She is exposed to the ram Apollo for 2011 lambs.   Last year this match produced fabulous lambs.  Her lambing history is 0,2,2,2,2.  Pedigree    Shantung has gone to live at another farm.

Evangeline is the daughter of Molly.  She was exposed to the ram Gilthanus for spring 2010 lambs. Evangeline in my friendliest ewe and always comes running for a nice scratch.  She was not bred as a lamb, so her history is na,1,2,na.  Pedigree

Due to space and time constraints, we chose to give Vangie a year off from lambing in 2013

This is Lydia, the moorit solid spotted two year old daughter of Shantung.  She was awarded the Grand Champion Icelandic Ewe prize at Michigan Fiberfestival 2009.  She is exposed to Apollo for lambs in the spring of 2011.  We expect great things from this pairing. Lambing history: Pedigree

Sadly, I do not think our Lydia is fertile after the very difficult birth of stillborn twins in 2011.  She is a great fiber pet at our farm though.

Lady Capulet is black-gray half-sister to Molly. She is a tall, milky ewe. She is being exposed to the new ram TCE 626Xfor 2011 babies. Lady Capulet is an excellent mother who is very attentive to her lambs. Lady was not bred as a lamb, her lambing history is na,2,2,2,2. She was bred by Marty Favre of Fence Row Farm. Pedigree

Meet TNT (formerly known as "Grace" of Dancing Lamb Icelandic Sheep Dairy)  She is a sweet black gray badgerface ewe with very curly locks of wool.  Her lambing record is 1,2,2,2.  She has been exposed to TCE 626X for lambs in spring 2011.   We can't wait!  TNT is a Kani grandaughter and has Flotti in her pedigree.  Pedigree  We are sad to say we lost TNT in an accident in August of 2011.  She is sadly missed.
